The addition of the KDF55 media guard further eliminates contaminants and heavy metals, helping to remove chlorine and reduce odor and scaling. This system is suitable for use with municipal or city water sources.

The included components are: a 12" x 52" black mineral tank, 2.0 cubic feet of pre-loaded activated coconut shell carbon, the KDF55 media guard, and a backwash valve.
